Closed reins, or loop reins, are great for every discipline! These supple flat rope reins with clip fastening are loved by both beginners and intermediate riders and pair very well with our bridles.
Tip: Get a slightly longer size and add knots for beginners and kids so they can hold both sides at equal distance better and get a better grip

Product details
Our Daytona closed reins are a great versatile rein for almost all disciplines. Closed reins are also known as roper reins or loop reins, they fasten at the bit and loop around the neck without any buckles in between.
The Daytona reins have handy snaps for easy changing of reins or used them as a leadrope when no reins are needed.
Sizing & Measurements
Our reins are measured in meters, measurements in feet are approximate and not exact.
Measurements are including snaps.
XS - 2m / 6.5ft
S - 2,5m / 8.2ft
M - 3m / 9.8ft
L - 3,5m / 11.5ft
XL - 4m / 13ft
Best size depends on the length of the horse's neck and riders preference.
As a guide we recommend:
XS and S for pony's
S and M for large pony's and horses
M and L for horses
XL for very large horses
These reins are a little under 2cm (3/4inch) wide but stretch to about 1,5cm (5/8inch) with tension and they are 5mm (1/4inch) thick.
Colours & Materials
Daytona Reins are made from flat Braided PPM rope
At the moment these reins only come in Black Onyx
Other colours will also be available in the future but you can also place a custom order for any colour at no extra cost until more are available.
Snaps are available in:
- Chrome Plated (silver coloured)
- Brass (gold coloured)
- Rainbow Chrome (multi coloured)
