Shipping policy
All items are made in and shipped from the Netherlands, we ship worldwide*! Shipping costs are calculated by order amount and country the order needs to be shipped to (see below for rates).
Order processing
HN Horsewear offers three types of products:
- Ready to ship: these items are in stock and have a processing time of 1-2 business days
- Made to order: the materials for these items are in stock, you can customise our standard designs to your liking and they will be made after you order them. Processing time for made to order items depends on complexity and can be anywhere from between 2 days to 6 weeks, a closer estimate will be listed at the product page
- Custom order: these items are specially made for you, adjusted sizing, adjusted designs, special order colours etc. Processing time will be discussed via email.
Items from the same order will not ship separately, your order will be shipped all at once when the item with the longest processing time is ready.
Pick ups are only available by appointment in Schiedam or Maasland, the Netherlands. Please contact before placing your order to make an appointment and get a personal code to remove shipping costs from your order.
Shipping
All orders will be shipped through PostNL, your local carrier will take over when the box has arrived in the country of destination. You will receive a Track & Trace code when your order is shipped. Tracking might not be available in some countries. The recipient will need to sign upon delivery.
If you prefer a different shipping method, for example, DHL, DPD, UPS etc. You can contact us before placing your order to see if we can arrange to ship with your preferred carrier.
Please keep in mind additional costs for duties and taxes may apply when ordering from outside of the European Union.

Insured shipping
Because of the nature of the items sold, all orders with a value of 50 euro or more will be shipped with insurance in case a package is lost or damaged during shipping.
A lot of the items we sell are custom made and hard to replace, if even replaceable at all. So we choose to go with the more expensive insured shipping options.
For orders over €500,- you will need to contact us for shipping options. -
Tax and Duties
Because we ship from the Netherlands there might be additional costs when you receive your package.
When importing goods from another country your package will go through customs.
You can check the website of customs in your country for more information and get an idea of what extra fees may come with your purchase.
HN Horsewear is not responsible for any extra fees customs charge you. -
Shipping materials
We care about the environment so we re-use shipping materials as much as possible. We collect new shipping materials from companies that went out of business and would have thrown it away or re-use packaging material we have left over from other orders.
When buying new materials for shipping we make sure they are made from recycled materials.
