This versatile rope is ideal to tie on your rope halter as a lead rope, add slobber bars to make reins and many other useful options! We offer three different lengths, thicknesses and colours and different options for poppers (or none at all) with more options available as custom orders.

Tip: For split reins order the 4m with (leather) poppers on both ends, cut the rope in half, burn the ends and attach slobber bars. This will give you the proper length for split reins. Use 3m or 3,5m for pony size split reins.
Don't want to cut them yourself? Add a note at check out and we will cut them for you free of charge!
Sizing & Measurements
Basic ropes comes in three standard lengths:
- 3 meter (about 9.8ft)
- 3,5 meter (about 11.5ft)
- 4 meter (about 13ft)
And three different thicknesses:
- 10mm (about 0.40 inch)
- 12mm (about 0.47 inch)
- 14mm (about 0.55 inch)
Poppers will add approximately 12cm (4.75 inch) per popper to the total length of the rope
Colours & Materials
Basic rope is made from solid braided Polypropylene rope.
At the moment we have three colours in stock:
- Black Onyx
- Neon Thulite
- Saronite
Coloured ropes are not a perfect match to our corresponding rope halters but close enough to make a nice looking set.
As we can not keep all colour and thickness options available to us in stock we do offer other option through custom orders. Just send an email with your requested choice and we will see if we can get it for you.

Although we try to keep at least one of each size/colour in stock this item is made to order and may take 1 to 5 business days to complete before shipping.
